GM Abhimanyu Mishra - Special TRCC Event
The evening program will include:
Lecture (6:15 to 6:45 P.M.) – Abhimanyu Mishra will present a 30-minute lecture on his chess journey.
Simultaneous Exhibition (7:00 to 8:30 P.M.) – Mishra will face eight opponents simultaneously in a limited-board simul. Seats will be assigned through a raffle system.

Toms River Chess Club to Host Chess Prodigy Abhimanyu Mishra on Thursday, December 11, 2025

Toms River, NJ – The Toms River Chess Club (TRCC), founded in 1964, has a long tradition of hosting some of the greatest names in chess history, including world champions Mikhail Tal, Mikhail Botvinnik, and Boris Spassky. On Thursday, December 11, 2025, the TRCC will continue that tradition by welcoming New Jersey native and chess prodigy Grandmaster Abhimanyu Mishra for a special evening event from 6:00 to 8:30 P.M. at the Club’s main branch, located at 33 Washington Street, Toms River, New Jersey (08753).

The event is open to TRCC members and the general public. Local media representatives are also welcome to attend.

Proceeds will be used to cover event expenses. Any surplus funds will be used to purchase copies of Mishra’s book, The Youngest Chess Grandmaster in the World: at 12 Years, 4 Months, and 25 Days, for the TRCC Library and as giveaways for members.
