2026 Ocean County Championship!

On every Thursday from the dates of October 1 - October 22, 2026, the Toms River Chess Club at its Toms River location will be hosting a United States Chess Federation Regular Rated tournament. The 2026 Ocean County Championship!


The tournament will start each day at 6:30 P.M SHARP. and will be a total of 4 rounds. The tournament will have 1 round each night on the dates of Oct 1, Oct 8, Oct 15, & Oct 22. The time control will be G65;d3. 1 half point bye allowed.


Prizes 1st place 30% of entry fee total, 2nd place, 20% of entry fee total, 3rd 10% of entry fee total.

We strongly encourage online registration. Registering and submitting payment online helps ensure quicker start times at our tournaments and reduces the workload for our organizing volunteers.
