2026 Chess Madness Tournament!

On the dates of March 5th and 12th 2026, the Toms River Chess Club will be hosting a United States Chess Federation (USCF) Dual Rated tournament. The Chess Madness Tournament!

The tournament will start on both days at 6:30 P.M. and will be a total of 4 rounds. The tournament will have 2 rounds on the March 5th date and 2 rounds on the March 12th date. 

​

The time control will be G30;d5, 1 half point bye allowed,.

 

Prizes 1st place 30% of entry fee total, 2nd place, 20% of entry fee total, 3rd 10% of entry fee total. .

 

$15 Entry for members.

Member Entry

Member Tournament Fee: Members may register and pay online in advance, or pay in person on the day of the tournament for an additional $2.

Non-Member Entry

Non-Member Tournament Fee: Non-Members may register and pay online in advance, or pay in person on the day of the tournament for an additional $2.
